SCHALK STEYN

Schalk obtained his B Proc Degree at The University of the Orange Free State and was admitted as an Attorney in 1985.  After a short career at the Head Office of a commercial bank, he started practicing as Attorney and Conveyancer at Steyn Attorneys Inc. during 1990 in Worcester.

As a practicing attorney and conveyancer for almost 30 years, Schalk has established a well-known and reputable firm that specialises primarily in general litigation, commercial and property law.  The large variety of legal services provided to clients and banks over the years has ultimately resulted in Schalk gaining vast experience and knowledge in the intricate and often diverse legal fields of this profession. Schalk has earned an impeccable reputation for his honesty, commitment and dedication towards all his clients.

RUBEN STEYN

Ruben obtained his LLB degree at Stellenbosch University in 2015 and commenced articles of clerkship at Heyns and Partners Inc in Goodwood. He was admitted as an attorney on 2 February 2018.

Ruben joined Steyn Attorneys Inc. in February 2018 and currently attends to general litigation cases and likewise assists correspondent attorneys with matters in the Magistrate’s Court, High Court, Master’s Office, and Deeds Office. Fields of experience and interest include, but are not limited to the following:

• General litigation in Magistrate’s Court, Regional Court and High Court
• Family law including: Divorce, Maintenance, Parenting Plans, Child Law Matters
• Correspondent matters

Ruben has a solid educational foundation and a passion for legal defence, and in his spare time enjoys golf, reading and spending time with friends.
